Why do you want to join the ALM Rangers?
Over the last couple years I have been working to implement DevOps practices with my main focus being the automation of manual processes to achieve a higher success rate and repeatable outcomes in software deployment. My main reason for wanting to join the ALM Rangers is to be a part of an ALM community where I can make impactful contributions and be a part of providing truly beneficial IP to a broad audience. Being relatively new to the ALM community, I am also very interested in learning from and connecting with ALM experts.
Who you are? 
I am currently an Associate Consultant with Microsoft (MCS) where I work closely with my clients to implement DevOps practices. My current focus is on Visual Studio Release Management and deployment automation through PowerShell / DSC. Prior to joining Microsoft, I worked as a Senior Programmer/Analyst at Meditech in Canton, MA for 6 years. One of my main responsibilities at Meditech was working with Upper Management to implement DevOps practices in customer code deployments, which included the standardization of code delivered to customers and the automation of code delivery to reduce human error and increase scalability (with the number of customers that could be supported).
What makes you “tick”?
I am very passionate about automation and problem solving. I quickly get bored with mundane repeatable manual processes will always look for quicker and safer ways to accomplish them through automation. While I love solving a new difficult problem, I never like solving the same problem more than once. By the second time, more often than not I am automating the fix.
Where do you live?
I am currently living in Charlotte, NC. with my wife and four kids.
Why are you active in the Rangers program?
To this point I have been involved to learn from ALM experts, but am excited to get more involved in creating DevOps tools and best practices for the wider ALM community.
What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?
None yet, but have contributed some information to the DevOps cookbook.
