Experiencing Data Latency for Many Data Types - 12/22 - Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 12/22/2015, 20:35 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 12/22/2015, 18:40 UTC and that during the 1 hour and 55 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some customers would have experience data latency.

  • Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue with the backend processing infrastructure, where some systems stopped processing incoming data.
  • Lessons Learned: Are engineering team is reviewing available telemetry to determine root cause.

Root cause has been isolated to an issue with the backend processing infrastructure, where some systems stopped processing incoming data. Processing is now working as expected. Some customers may continue to experience data latency and we estimate 2 hours before all latency is addressed.
