This is a follow up regarding the advisory issued on 2/24 about the temporary reduction in burst throttling limits for Application Insights ingestion: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/applicationinsights-status/2017/02/25/application-insights-advisory-0224/. We are continuing a gradual process of increasing our ingestion burst throttling limits back to original 32K EPS. Starting today, the burst throttling limits have been raised to 20K EPS. Customers will now be able to ingest data at a maximum rate of 20K EPS.
We continue to work on increasing the ingestion rates and we will update this blog as progress is made. Based on our analysis of existing data, we don’t expect any impact on normal ingestion use cases.
