We're pleased to be congratulating two Microsoft Showcase Schools who enjoyed great success at the Scottish Education Awards earlier this summer.
The awards have been running for over 15 years, and recognise the effort and achievements of those individuals and organisations who have dedicated their lives to educating children and young people, as well as being a great opportunity to showcase some of the best innovation in Scottish classrooms. Following nominations, winners in each category were selected by a panel of educational experts against the relevant category criteria.
Education technology in Scotland is in rude health, with many schools and individuals leading the way in digital innovation, inclusion, and best practices. We are incredibly fortunate to work closely with a number of those at the forefront of driving change and progress through digital learning, and are thrilled to be congratulating some of them on their recent awards.
Microsoft Showcase School Kirkton of Largo Primary School won the 'Learning Through Technology' category, while Jacqueline Campbell of St Mungo's High School - also a MS Showcase School - was named 'Teacher of the Year'.
Both are fantastic achievements, and just reward for the continued hard work and dedication shown by all involved with both schools.
